Kale and Sausage Breakfast Pizza

This delicious Kale and Sausage Breakfast Pizza is made with marinara sauce, kale, ground sausage, cheddar and mozzarella cheese.

Equipment

  • Baking Sheet or 10-12 inch Cast Iron Skillet
  • Pizza Cutter

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces ground sausage, cooked
  • 10 ounce ready to bake pizza crust
  • 1 handful of chopped or shredded kale
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup Colby and Monterrey Jack cheese Cheddar is also a great option!
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 large egg
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • Coat baking sheet or cast iron skillet with olive oil.
  • Place pizza crust on baking sheet then add marinara sauce.
  • Next, add a handful of kale then make a nest (or well) for your egg to rest.
  • Add mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheddar, and ground sausage.
  • Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
  • When cheese is melted and bubbly, your pizza is ready.
  • Cut into even slices, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

If you don't have cooked sausage you can roughly chop patties, links, etc. and add them as a topping.
