This creamy and delicious Buffalo Chicken Smoked Gouda Dip is made with five ingredients! Smoked gouda cheese with the perfect amount of heat. Add your favorite dipper such as tortilla chips or celery boats, and this appetizer will be added to your favorites list!
You know what I love? A good appetizer dip. Sometimes you have to go back and revisit one of your old favorites. Besides the infamous Rotel Dip, and we can’t forget my Hot Crab, Spinach, and Artichoke Dip, Buffalo Chicken Dip has always been a favorite. Honestly, I don’t make it enough. Fall and football season is around the corner. One good thing is, no matter what is going on in the world, we still get to enjoy good food!
Cheese makes everything better!
What I love about most Chicken Dip appetizers is that you can try a variety of cheeses. One of my favorites is Gouda. More specifically…Smoked Gouda—and I love this Buffalo Chicken Smoked Gouda Dip! Yes, it can be enjoyed with regular Gouda too, but…I’ll admit, I might be little bias. Add some celery on the side to use as a Celery Boat for dipping! The possibilities are endless.
WHAT KIND OF HOT SAUCE GOES WELL WITH THIS DIP?
I am obsessed with Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Wings sauce. It goes perfect in this dip. I also shared a few quick and easy appetizers here, which also includes Frank’s RedHot Wings (if you don’t feel like cooking). As for the sauce, feel free to use whatever brand you like.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
If you have a slow-cooker that would be excellent. It’s truly one of those recipes that you just walk away. Once you have everything ready to transfer to your slow-cooker, leave it on low heat, stirring occasionally. If you don’t have a slow-cooker, don’t worry, this Buffalo Chicken Smoked Gouda Dip can be prepared easily stove-top.

Food is made to be enjoyed and you don’t have to be in a large crowd to do so. Either way I hope you enjoy this oldie but goodie. It reminds me of fall. It’s easy to make and I know you will enjoy it during a weekend of relaxing or while watching a game.
