  • 10 pieces of thick-cut bacon
  • 10 large okra pods
  • cajun seasoning to taste
  • cracked black peppercorns to taste

Ingredients for Lemon Garlic Aioli

  • 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fine chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Wrap each okra pod with a slice of bacon and season with Cajun spices and cracked black peppercorns.
  • Apply grilling spray to okra and place okra over wood or charcoal fire until the bacon is firm and cooked thoroughly.
  • Serve okra as an appetizer with Lemon Garlic Aioli for dipping.

Lemon Garlic Aioli Dipping Sauce

  • Add mayonnaise, roughly chopped garlic cloves, lemon juice, onion powder, and fresh parsley to a mixing bowl and whisk. Adjust seasoning to your taste buds. Cover mixing bowl and place in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours.

Notes
