Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Silicone Brush

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 medium to large bananas slightly unripe, but firm to touch Green streaks on segments are perfect! You can even use unripe, green bananas.
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil (if brushing each side of bananas + rack) Use 1½ Tablespoon if you are tossing bananas with cinnamon in bowl.
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (or or a few shakes) adjust to your taste buds I used Vietnamese cinnamon for this recipe.

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer at 350° F.
  • Slice slightly ripe (firm) banana into thin slices (or chips)
  • Place in a bowl and coat evenly with olive oil. I like using a basting/pastry brush.
  • Place bananas on air fryer crisping rack and cook on 350° F for 10 to 12 minutes or your desired crispiness, flipping halfway through..
  • ***You may have to cook in batches***
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Do not use overripe bananas. They will be too soft and will caramelize and not cook properly.
  • This recipe is vegan-friendly.
