Equipment

  • Ice cream scooper or Spoon
  • Wax Paper
  • Baking Sheets

Ingredients

  • 1 box Chocolate Toast Crunch Cereal, 12.4 oz
  • 1.5 cups Pretzel Sticks coarsely chopped
  • 1 container Unsalted Peanuts Dry Roasted, 16 oz
  • 1-2 cups Butterscotch Chips
  • packs Almond Bark, Vanilla Flavor, 24 oz See notes

Instructions

  • Mix cereal, chopped pretzel sticks, unsalted peanuts, and butterscotch chips in a big mixing bowl. Set aside.
  • For Melting Almond Bark: follow instructions on package. Start with 30 seconds, then melt in increments. Be careful. You don't want to burn your almond bark.
  • Once you have your almond bark completely melted (nice smooth texture), pour into mixing bowl with sweet-salty-crunch mixture that you set aside.
  • Mix using a silicone spatula until completely coated.
  • Scoop mounds of Christmas Crunch onto wax paper.
  • Let them settle into form for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

DISCLAIMER: This recipe contains NUTS. Please read ingredients on all products before preparing.
  • You can find Almond Bark at the following stores: Aldi, Walmart, Target, Publix, and Amazon.
  • I use 1 full package + another 1/2 package of bark. That is plenty (for me) to get my Christmas Crunch fully coated.
  • You can use an ice cream scooper, spoon, or whatever you like to make your mounds. I use 0.5 oz cup from my Rubbermaid Easy Storage containers found here.
  • Make sure you have enough space (example: an island) when you lay out your wax paper for your CC mounds. If you don't have enough space, you can use baking sheets (pick about 5 up from the Dollar Store).
  • You can also use Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Chex Cereal and pick out the flavor combo you desire. (I would go with Chocolate Chex to stick as close to this recipe, but if you want a different flavor: try Cinnamon Chex, Honey Nut Chex, Vanilla Chex, or Peanut Butter Chex <<< I'm definitely trying this one).
  • Store in a storage container or storage bags.
