The Disneyland Half Marathon 10th Anniversary Weekend is less than three weeks away! I cannot wait to see all of my runDisney friends and earn my Coast to Coast Race Challenge bling! I will be running the Disneyland 10K and the Disneyland Half Marathon all part of the Dumbo Double Dare Challenge. Plus, it’s Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary! This will be my third Run Disney race and first Run Disney challenge–and just in case you haven’t seen the Dumbo Double Dare Challenge medals…here they are!

Cigna, the sponsor of the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend held a Twitter Chat with runDisney and Jeff Galloway, runDisney’s official training consultant, to share training tips. There were so many great tips shared by Cigna, runDisney, Jeff Galloway, and other runners/walkersโ I thought I would share a few tweets from the #CignaRunTogetherChat!

Even though I live only a couple hours away and I love Disneyland (I pretty much grew up there..I’d go once a month when I was a kid), I’ve never done a Disney race. They always sound like fun though.
Oh wow! That’s pretty cool to live that close. Disney Races are the best! You would have a blast!
I have you have an amazing MAGICAL time. It sounds great!
Thank you, Elle! I’m excited!!!
runDisney medals are the best! Can’t wait to earn my next one at next year’s Wine and Dine, since I have to defer this year’s registration.

I’ve done the WDW half, but not Disneyland! I would do this one, just to feel balanced out! For now, I have to live vicariously through you!
Love Disneyland!!! I live close to Disney also and should definitely run a race there sometime soon.
You are going to have such a blast!!!
It’s ok to taper made my laugh. Sometimes I think it’s the toughest part of a training series.
I love all the excellent tips that were shared on the Twitter Chat and they make perfect sense. Some standouts were the reminder of the beauty of yoga, pacing ourselves during the run, and above all, maintaining a positive attitude… That said, all of the tips got a thumbs up from me.
