I am happy to say that I completed my FIRST vision board! No, the photo above is not it, but proof that I put in work and meant business! “Write the vision and make it clear. I will be a witness, and it will come right on time. It won’t fail me, even if it delays. I will wait with expectancy.” Habakkuk 2:2-3, The ART translation.
A dream board or vision board is a collage of images, pictures, and affirmations of one’s dreams and desires, designed to serve as a source of inspiration and motivation, and to use the law of attraction to attain goals.
For years I’ve wanted to create a vision board, but honestly, I just wasn’t intentional about it. I had goals and visions in my head, but there’s something about writing them down. I knew when my theme word for the year came to me, that it was time for me to get serious about the things that I wanted manifested in the natural.
It’s real simple. All you really need to do is let your creative juices flow. It doesn’t have to be all complex, but having magazines is a start. Thank goodness, I had a bunch on hand. Then I headed to my local Michael’s to pick up a few items like: glue sticks, cut out letters, and poster board. You can even get super creative with glitter, washi tape — or whatever else you think you need.
Envision your HIGHEST SELF and place it on that board. It can be anything from family, marriage, career, health…whatever you want manifested.
Here are a few other things you can do:
- Play high vibrational music.
- Burn a candle or incense as you create your board. This brings a calm to the process.
- Be CLEAR about your intentions. This is your time to set them.
- Whether you feel like you are in that space or not, place an image of what and/or where you want to be (example: you exuding happiness and feeling radiant—and it shows! Even on a vacation in Santorini,Greece).
- Write your vision in a journal even if you place images on your vision board. Refer to Habakkuk 2:2
- Give thanks in advance for the manifestation on the way!
2020 is the year of MANIFESTATION! Make it count!
