First off, the happy first day of November! Did I tell you that this time of year just so happens to be my favorite? It’s pumpkin spice everything (don’t debate me), and we’re about to officially start peppermint mocha season. Yes, my loves, we’re entering the holiday season which is a great time to do two things: remind ourselves of how grateful we are with #30DaysofThanks, and (for me) attempt to #bloglikecrazy. Oh…and if you didn’t know, it’s also NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). This is low-key the inspiration behind #bloglikecrazy. You can read here to see how it came about.
Although I haven’t been blogging as much as I would have liked here lately, I thought this would be the perfect time to get back started with a little motivation from fellow bloggers. I decided to join my tribe, See Jane Write for the month of November to #bloglikecrazy! Our CBO (Chief Blogging Officer and creator of #bloglikecrazy), Javacia Harris Bowser, hosts a November (30-day) blogging challenge which helps bloggers practice consistency with writing. She even gives us the motivation we need and tips to be successful throughout the entire 30 days. Thanks, J!
Back in 2015, I made an attempt, but I came up short by a few days. But that’s OK! It’s hard to watch the #bloglikecrazy crew float through my timeline and not take part. Since I’m doing my #30DaysofThanks, I’m going to give it a go…again. You can even read about what I learned during my first attempt.
I have no clue how this is going to turn out, and I’ll be honest I may be ALL over the place! Lol! BUT (yes, there’s a but) I’m going to try to remain consistent. I also love that there are writing prompts to help me during the dry spells (aka “blogger’s block”). You can check out the writing prompts here.
If you want to join me, make sure you head over to See Jane Write to get the deets.
OK…wish me luck!
