I’m A Plant Person

Becoming a plant person is one of the most exciting things. Sharing my new favorite house plants, all things cacti, plus a cute new flower shop to the Birmingham area! 

OK — first off, I’m a plant person! For reals, who would have thought? So I realized that I had a unique style while shopping for items for my home. I love all things botanical and especially anything related to cacti. I noticed years ago that I gravitated toward anything with a cactus…stationary, a glass dish, a wine stopper, anything! I just love cacti, so naturally I wanted cacti plants in and around the home. Outside of gardening, which I’ll share more about later, I thought it would be fun to create beautiful, green spaces. I figured this would also be a great way to learn more about houseplants! Sarah (my Mom) would be so proud!

We have a NEW (and cutest) houseplant shop that just opened here in Birmingham! I attended Botanica‘s grand opening and there were so many beautiful houseplants to choose from. I honestly fell in love with them all. I’ve been on a search for the perfect cacti — and I found one (of many) that was so unique — you know I had to bring it home! It’s called a Madagascar (Cactus) Palm.

Look at my wittle baby! It’s a Parlor Palm. The planter was the perfect addition.

I am OBSESSED with this cactus!
