It feels like forever since I’ve blogged, but there’s been so many amazing things taking place and all in a short amount of time. I was in a spontaneous mood so I signed my HB and I for the Biggest Loser 5K/10 Race in the A (Atlanta). I also celebrated my 3 year Blogaversary (more to come) and new LIFE with an amazing group of women! Well…
Yesterday morning, I received my “Welcome” email from Fit Approach welcoming me to the team! I am so excited that I was chosen as a Sweat Pink Ambassador! If you are on social media or follow anything fitness related, you are sure to see #SweatPink in your feed. And of course I love PINK, but it’s so much more than that. It’s a community of enthusiastic, supportive individuals who care about health and fitness. It’s not any fun unless you enjoy it, right? The Fit Approach (#SweatPink) founders, Jamie and Alyse, believe that real women sweat, and sweat hard—and they must do it in pretty shoes! It’s not about competition. Push when it’s necessary. Rest when your body tells you to. Dream big, celebrate each other, overcome challenges, and encourage others on their fitness journey. With all of these tools, you can only create experiences that will make you “look great and feel even better”. Like seriously, there’s no other option. Sweat Pink!
How cute are these? I’ll be going farther and faster in these Sweat Pink shoelaces!
Biggest Loser Run/Walk Series — “ATL”
I can’t believe I’m typing this, but my HB has caught the running bug! He’s been saying for a while that he wanted to run a 10K. Since I missed the Biggest Loser Run/Walk in Mobile, I knew we could totally make it a road trip. So we did!
I had to pull out my “rainbow of skirts” that I won from Sparkle Athletic (a big thank you again to The Girls)! It’s so cool having a skirt for every occasion! #TeamSparkle
Do you like my tribal print arm band? Well, I love it! You can check out some other fun Bondi Band, arm bands here!
It was a BGR takeover at the BLRW! We had the biggest team participating in the race!
I ran the 5K so I could watch my HB cross the finish line. Have you ever just stepped back and just enjoyed a 5K? After running half marathons back to back, it makes you appreciate the 5K so much more! It was the perfect morning, beautiful weather, great music—and yes, I had to stop and take pictures. Fun Runners Rock!!!
I had the opportunity to meet Jackson and Marie, former contestants of Biggest Loser 15 and 14. They looked amazing! I didn’t even recognize them at first! I had a total shock-face when I realized that they were who they were. Okay, that may have come out funny but, it’ true! Their transformations will absolutely change ya life! They were super sweet and a true testament that hard work does pay off! I am so inspired!
Can I just say how incredibly proud I am of my HB for running his first 10K race AND he placed 3rd in his age group! Whoop Whoop!
BGR loves the bling and of course we love Bondi Band!
All in all, I had a blast at the Biggest Loser Run/Walk. I met so many people with inspiring stories. Always be proud of your accomplishment…5K, 10K, Half, and beyond. There’s no greater reward than crossing that finish line and saying to yourself, “I did it!” Be inspired.

Thank you so much, Tam! I still can’t believe he’s running now either! He would not run if I paid him millions…now I think he’s addicted to the bling!

Congratulations on your ambassadorship. I just became a Sweat Pink Ambassador too! Whoot! We should get together as I’m in ATL too. Great job on the biggest loser as well.

What a FUN race!! I wish I loved to run…my knees and hips hurt after a 12 hour shift at the hospital though. Sad day! Congrats to your husband for placing third! Thats awesome!!

It was really fun! I totally understand about being on your feet for 12 hours shifts. Rest, rest, rest. The good thing about the BGRW is that so many people walked it! Thank you, Ricci!
