If you missed the Healing in the Heartland Benefit concert hosted by country singer, Blake Shelton, I hope you can watch it On Demand or when it airs again. It was beautiful. The concert was dedicated to those affected by the Oklahoma tornado. All of the songs were so touching and you will probably cry throughout the concert. Not even the animals were overlooked. Miranda Lambert’s song, “The House That Built Me” was dedicated to the raising awareness of animals affected. I have two kitty babies and this song takes on a whole new meaning. Pets become family and knowing many may have lost theirs is heartbreaking. And leave it to Miranda (one of my favorite country artists and singers)…she will have you grabbing the tissue box not even one minute in. Living in a city, Birmingham (AL), that has recently suffered tornado devastation as well as family and friends — my heart and prayers are with you Oklahoma!!!
