It’s October and that means it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!!! I will be participating in the 21st Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure (North Central Alabama) on October 20, 2012! I, along with many others around the city (including my local running group — Black Girls Run!), will be coming together to race for a worthy cause!
I’m so excited to participate in something so dear to me. The fight against cancer has not only affected me, but also many friends, family, and loved ones. I will be teaming up with my dear friend to race in Honor and Memory of her Mother (Mrs. Brenda) on TEAM PINK ANGELS! We would appreciate your support by donating to Team Pink Angels. The team goal is to raise $1000.00 to help towards finding a cure for Breast Cancer! To make a donation to the team, visit here!
