Crispy Crabless Cakes
WEEKNIGHT MEALS
If your weeknights go a little something like mine, then you would appreciate a convenient way to enjoy healthy, delicious food. It’s so easy to stop by a drive-thru or you may even have food ready to cook, but it will take hours to prepare. The latter was the norm until I started getting smarter about my time. And if you know me, then you know I don’t play about mealtime.
ENJOYING MY FAVORITES THROUGHOUT THE WEEK
I love that there are ways to enjoy delicious meals, including my favorites, without having to “throw down” in the kitchen for hours like a Grandmother in a housecoat singing old church hymns. Old school, I know—but the food was so good!
WHY I LOVE GARDEIN
I love Gardein (garden + protein) products because they are non-GMO, meat-free, and vegan-friendly, and they are better for my body and for the planet. Double win! An excellent way to add a little spice to your “Meatless Monday” or any day of the week is with Gardein’s Mini Crispy Crabless Cakes with Spicy Avocado Dill Sauce! My mouth just watered.
MEATLESS OPTIONS FOR EVERY TASTE BUD
Gardein frozen meals can be made in minutes and can be eaten on busy weeknights, lunch on the go, or when you’re trying to stick to your health goals. Here is a sample of what Gardein has to offer: Gardein Meatless Pepperoni Pizza Pocket, Gardein BBQ Pulled Porkless Pocket Meal, Gardein Sweet & Sour Porkless Bites, and Gardein Chipotle Black Bean Burger. These are just a few, but you can check out all of their meatless products here.

Crispy Crabless Cakes with Spicy Avocado Dill Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 package Gardein Mini Crispy Crabless Cakes follow directions on package
Spicy Avocado Dill Sauce
- 1 large avocado
- 1 cup non-fat plain Greek if you are vegan, use dairy free yogurt of choice
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill coarsely chopped + a few sprigs for garnish
- 3 cloves garlic, diced fine
- 1 large jalapeno, chopped - seeds removed
- 1 lime
- salt and pepper to taste
- Sriracha, for garnish
Instructions
Spicy Avocado Dill Sauce
- Mix all of your ingredients for Avocado Dill Sauce in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate approximately 30 minutes before serving.
- Cook Crabless Cakes according to the package. I prefer using the air fryer to get them good and crispy.
- Add drizzles of sriracha for garnish and for adding a little spice into your life!
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- I would prepare the Avocado Dill Sauce beforehand and chill until ready to cook Crabless Cakes.

It was my first time having meatless seafood and I was impressed!!! Glad I took a chance. It was delicious! If you have a great sauce or aoli to go with, that’s even better!

I read about these on another blog. They sound good but I can’t help but wonder, why avoid crab?
