Hi All! I attended a really fun event this past weekend! But before I go on…here is a photo of me before the event with a few of my pieces that I thrifted on a previous excursion! The skirt, vintage necklace, and the belt were all thrifted! Below is a better picture of the belt that somehow got chopped off by my photographer! lol
I attended the Southern Women’s Show this past Saturday and it was so much fun! There’s something about seeing that little grab bag and knowing that there’s an entire room full of vendors, entertainment, food, you name it!!! That really excites me!!!
SOUTHERN WOMEN’S SHOW!
This is one of the first booths I ran into! Perfume! What girl doesn’t want to smell good?! I will say…I really love clean, crisp, citrusy scents and Taylor Swift’s new perfume “Wonderstruck” smelled really good! Viva la Juicy was another fave!
I was really excited to see this booth, especially with it being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month! I wrote on the memorial tree to share words of encouragement to the Survivors as well as a special note to a sweet friend I lost to breast cancer. I’m thankful to see so many people involved and spreading awareness!
There were other great vendors…so many I couldn’t get pictures of them all!
They even had a comedian, singers, and a fashion show!
Ok…now this just MADE MY DAY!!! It’s Pinkberry! I was SO excited to see them there and find out that we are getting one here “Swirling Soon”!!!
Watermelon flavor with pieces of watermelon on top! :)
I had such a great time! Found one of my favorite vendors, Amish South, and got my sample and a jar of Cajun Candy – ‘Crack on a Cracker’! Yes that’s what it’s called! But don’t knock it before you try it! I also found some really cute jewelry for me and my Mom from this place called “Lu Lu’s”! Oh and I found out Bluebell has new seasonal ice cream flavors coming out soon: Peppermint and Spiced Pumpkin Pecan! Yummmmmy! They even had a cat rescue booth, can’t remember the name, but they provide adoption services and foster homes for kitties! For those that don’t know…I rescued two cats as babies: Baxter and Kasper and I love those boys to pieces!
I just wanted to share a few stops I made and I can’t wait until next year! If you’ve never attended a Southern Women’s Show…please make sure you do in the near future!
