Food Network’s “Restaurant: Impossible” is coming to my hometown! When I read in my newsfeed “Food Network’s ‘Restaurant Impossible’ to give Hueytown [near Birmingham] restaurant a makeover…”, I swear I said to my HB “What if it’s Bryant’s Seafood World?” I clicked on the link and could not believe it! My mouth began to water thinking about one of my favorite menu items: House Shrimp (enough for two) and hush puppies with a sweet, buttery spread. If you are ever going to have a cheat meal–this is where you go!
Bryant’s Seafood World has been a favorite eatery for many Hueytownians, Birmingham residents, and others in surrounding areas. I’ve known many people to drive as far as Montgomery, Anniston, and even Atlanta to come feast! Even out-of-towners visiting relatives or friends have been christened and know–it’s a must when they come visit. When my Sister comes home she always says, “Girl, you know we have to go by Bryant’s Seafood!” It’s definitely a place that will get you excited!

See you there!
Chef Robert Irvine and his crew will do a complete makeover on the restaurant including the menu and cooking style. I just hope they don’t touch my House Shrimp! The newly remodeled Bryant’s Seafood World will debut, opening on Thursday, February 7th at 7 p.m.
To all of my Foodie Friends, make sure you put this place on your list!
