Happy Thanksgiving Week!!!!!!
I have so much to be thankful for and this is such exciting time to come together with family, friends, and loved ones! This is the season of giving and being thankful for each and every blessing. One of my blessings that I’m thankful for is the support, inspiration, and motivation from so many on my journey to a healthier and fit life.
Shedding L-B’s and being fit is always a good thing, but not without hard work! I’m fixing my Thanksgiving “plates” early! Yep that’s right. I’m going to make sure I don’t cheat myself by slackin’ on my workouts. I’ve got the cardio down, but I’ve been hesitating about going up completely on my weight in my strength training class. I am not a slacker! I’ve been slowly increasing, but now it’s time to “Just Do It”!
I believe if you work hard, you play harder! I’m going to enjoy every single thing my heart desires. I don’t do diets, besides they don’t work and I don’t believe in depriving myself! Baked turkey or fried, pear or sweet potato pie – don’t worry it will be consumed! Don’t think I’m a total “Mikey” I do practice moderation. lol But yes…I will enjoy some good eating over this holiday. The next few days I will be going “hard in the paint” as some may say…but it will be worth it!
