I’m returning to my roots! I have been wanting to start back sharing things that I love outside of food and fitness for some time now. I’m not even sure why I stopped. Maybe because I was so caught up in marathon training and/or “weight watching“. Either way…I’m happy to be BACK!
When I started my blogging journey, I shared about beauty, vintage finds, fashion favorites (yes, outside of running I like to get cute)—and of course my food and fitness adventures. I am really excited to start this season with fresh ideas and new things to share! If you have followed me since the beginning, then you know that I’m a thrifter at heart. I’m all for a cute, affordable looks for less. Every now and then I like to add to my existing pieces, especially at the start of a new season. We all know that scarves are a no-brainer, so…
Here are a few of my fall fashion favorites:
Ponchos
Long and short cardigans, kimonos, and ponchos. LOVE! I remember a few years ago when people decided to ditch the poncho because they were no longer trending (I guess). However, I’m happy that they have made a comeback! *whispers*…I never got rid of mine. I love this Plaid Blanket Poncho from Eloquii. It will be perfect for a football game or a night out. Just throw a long-sleeve tee, blouse, or whatever—and rock it! You should also check this one out, too!
Beanies
I wear beanies all year round. Yes, even the summer. When the cooler months hit, I dress them up, wear them while running, or while running errands. I think they are the cutest, and they keep my head warm during cooler temps. I’ll throw on some of my big hoops and I’m ready!

Booties
They can be closed toe, booties with a bow, wedged booties…and over the past few years, I’ve fallen in love with peep-toe booties. I know some ladies may be hesitant to wear them in the cooler months, but I think they are adorbs! I even wear them with tights or socks if it is really cold. I like these Charlotte Russe Peep Toe Slingback Booties. I may need to add this natural color to my fall/winter collection. By the way, I’m a fashion rule-breaker, so I would totally wear these Chelsea socks from Altar’d State with them!
Tunics
I love anything with a pattern, especially floral. I recently purchased the cutest floral tunic and a few other tops, similar to this Floral Tunic from Forever 21. The rust/peachy color is perfect for fall! I also love how tunics fall on my curves. *pun intended*
Handbags
Enormous sized handbags and totes are my jam! The Bueno Faux Leather Satchel Handbag from Target gives me all the feels! I keep a large tote/handbag in the rotation, because I can store EVERY-THING in them. I also love this one here and this snakeskin design handbag here.
Clearly I love a lot of things, so now I want to know…what are you loving this fall?

Living in Florida, Fall usually does not come until November or December. We can usually wear short and flip flops until Christmas. I love the boots because they are appropriate even in our warm weather while still embracing the fall fashion.
My hubby always expresses his disdain for being in warmer climate for the Christmas holidays. I actually like Florida’s weather year round. I can wear a light leather jacket in the Spring or cool summer night.
I do love booties. I wear them out and about, to work, and hanging out. I’m not much of an autumn person but I am trying to make the most out of the colder weather! lol

Haha! Everything but the booties. I just have never had any love for them. The handbags though.. loving them everyday! The beanie is also a good one, especially when the weather turns.

I love this! I have seen some great tartan ponchos in stores this season, and you’re right – they’re perfect for cozying up at a game or a bonfire on a cool fall night. I think I’ll have to go for it!
I’m also a fan of the cable knit fisherman sweater in fall…. I’m hoping those will remain timeless!

I love boots and cooler weather, but not so much the bulk and added layers. That tunic might work for keeping warm without adding bulk.

I’m loving ponchos too! They can crank up the chic factor on an otherwise simple outfit. I wish I hadn’t gotten rid of my tunics a few years back, because they never really go out of style. Guess I’ll have to shop for more! :-)
