I recently purchased a new juicer, thanks Mom (gift card lol) and I’m so excited! Let me tell you…I’ve had my eye on a Breville Juicer for some time now. I mean REALLY had my eye on it, but it was kinda pricey. My previous Black & Decker Fruit and Vegetable Juice Extractor worked well to be under $30, (Black Friday sale). Purchase it here! It gave me the opportunity to see how I liked juicing. After using it for over a year, I knew I wanted a bigger chute/feeder to make it easier to juice things. Before Christmas I was in Walmart and I ran across this TRU Juicer. I said if it’s still there the day after Christmas then I was going to get it. There were only 5 left when I went back. Thank God it was still on Rollback (saved me $20…woo hoo!). I Googled to see if I could find a review, I mean I looked everywhere — and I couldn’t find one…so I basically took a chance. Update: I can’t find it online anymore.
Don’t worry…I found this VonShef Professional Powerful Wide Mouth Whole Fruit Juicer which is comparable and similar in price.
I absolutely LOVE this juicer! The feeding chute is extra wide and makes it much easier to juice larger quantities. I also get a great juice yield and clean up is easy. I even have this cute, little brush thing that helps out with those hard to reach crevices.
Here are a few other options:
Hamilton Beach Juice Extractor, 2- Speed Big Mouth
Aicok Juice Extractor, Juicer Centrifugal Fruit Machine with Juice Jug and Cleaning Brush, Stainless Steel
Here is one of my favorite POWER GREEN JUICE recipes:
POWER JUICE
- 1 apple
- 2-3 handfuls of spinach
- 1/2 lemon
- Thumb size of ginger (or more if you like)
- 1/2 cup of ice
Juicing has tons of great health benefits. You can add juicing into your diet (daily, weekly, etc). There are also those who participate in (temporary) juice fasts. I always recommend doing research first to see if this will work into your lifestyle, especially if you are considering a juice fast. If you have health-related questions regarding juicing, consult your doctor.

It’s very tasty! Not don’t get me wrong that all aren’t as good. Sometimes you have to take one for the team! LOL

Hi, I’ve also been eyeing a Breville but not so crazy about the price. How is the juice from the TRU juicer? Puply? Thanks.

Hello! The Tru Juicer (with wide chute) was $29.97 on rollback at Walmart (Regular price $49.98). They had some others for about $50 that were nice.. So far so good! NO PULP at all. Just juice. Even my cheaper Black-and-Decker, linked in the post, didn’t extract pulp.

I just read your post. I had bought the bella early today and came home and read the reviews and they were not good so I returned it @ target and went to buy the jack L juicer and then I came across the Tru juicer and it was marked down to 24$ and it has a 4$ 2year replacement warranty so I googled the reviews and couldn’t find any either except yours so I went ahead and bought it. I will let you know what I think! Thanks for the info!

Hi Royalle! Did you ever purchase the Tru juicer? I’m still loving mine so far! Let me know!

Curious to know how the TRU juicer is holding up. I need to make a big diet change on the cheap and was hoping this was it. Thanks in advance!

Hi Chelsee! It’s holding up great!!! I think if you’re looking for one on the low (but nice quality), this is it. Clean up is easy too!

Do you ever have rust issues with the metal caps on the mason jars? Do you think using a food saver to take the air out of the jar would do much good for juice sgarote if someone makes a lot of juice at once? Thanks for another great video.

I bought a Tru juicer a few days ago at Walmart marked down to $24.00 (!) I was suspicious of the price since all the juicers I have seen are generally pretty pricey. I spoke to a Walmart employee who assured me that there was nothing wrong with it- they were just trying to move stock. So I bought it and am very pleased so far. I have juiced spinach, oranges, lemons ,apples and carrots plus ginger. Cleaning takes awhile as the instructiions direct you to soak the grinder for at least 10 minutes to get all the pulp bits out of the fine mesh. No big deal. I just fill up the sink with hot soapy water, throw the parts in and walk away. So far, very pleased with this juicer!

Hi Eileen!
I’m glad you were able to find it for that price! I love my Tru Juicer! As far as the fine mesh…I use a sponge (yellow and green kind – not too hard/harsh) to clean that part and it makes it a lot easier! Also, if yours came with the little brush then it should help too!
Happy Juicing!
