Hey y’all! I know it has been a minute, but I had to share with you something pretty exciting! If you’re in Birmingham or surrounding areas, you may not know it but we have a new addition to our city. That’s right! Chicken Salad Chick has a NEW location in Trussville!
I have a confession…this was the first time that I had Chicken Salad Chick outside of catering. I had the pleasure of visiting the new location and I loved it! One thing I can tell you is that place stays PACKED!
If you’ve never heard of Chicken Salad Chick, it is a southern-inspired, fast-casual chicken salad restaurant. They have so many great options to choose from, so you won’t be limited to chicken salad. They serve up some of the best soups, sandwiches, salads, and more!
This is me right before my first bite. I knew it was about to be good!
I decided on the Trio: Buffalo Barclay (scoop), Fancy Nancy (sandwich), and Loaded Potato Soup. Yummmmy!
It was also my first time trying Grape Salad! Ummm…where have you been all my life?!
As you can see, HB was generous enough to let me try his selections. I’ll make sure I add Grape Salad next go round!

I have only had the opportunity to eat there once in Orlando, but it was great! They don’t have any of these in DC or Maryland! Maybe I should buy a franchise! LOL
